competent, compassionate care and services. Services provided will include the provision of needed health promotion/disease prevention, social services, food and nutrition assistance and development programs provided to South Sudan individuals, families and children to meet their daily living needs to break the cycle of dependence and re-instill their former pride and dignity.
In addition, a small part of your donation will be utilized for emergency treatment of Cholera which has recently affected this small village and another one nearby. They have been the site of a sudden Cholera outbreak that has affected 23 children in both villages, with 8 deaths. In 2016 there were 353 cases in the nearby village, requiring emergency treatment. Again, your donation will go a long way, Please feel free to contact me if you want more information about our program.

The primary challenge faced by the rural Aliab community in the South Sudan is the lack of a safe, fully equipped and staffed permanent school building, which we are currently planning. The one currently in use is outdoors, with the children sitting on the wet, muddy ground with limited volunteer staff. During the Village’s rainy season the children have no dry place to attend classes. Our other challenges are obtaining school supplies and locating trained school teachers. Most of the current financial aid and social services provided to the South Sudan is available only in the Eastern and Southern parts of the country. Services are not available for the poor, rural people of the South and Central Sudan, along the river where the extremely poor Aliab community lives.
